Senior Test 1 (2012)

My first senior test. Well, there's a whole lot of things in the syllabus. And I don't feel prepared at all.

Friday (6/7) - Practical 1-5 (Bandaging, Transporting, CPR, Medical Emergencies and Situation)
Saturday (7/7) - Marching and Home Nursing
Friday (13/7) - ERC (Red Crescent history), Theory and Physical Test
Saturday (14/7) - Scouting (Fire-making, typing tripod & knots) and Team Test

Among all these, I would say I'm most un-prepared for ERC, Home Nursing and Scouting.
ERC requires lots of reading. And the way you answer that paper is by writing something like an essay. =X
Home Nursing... Well we don't get to practice that a lot so... most people are nervous about it too.
Scouting... Erm, we don't learn about it quite often also. Fire making... need to see luck and also wind. Tripod should be okay. Just the knots need some hard work.

Sigh, AGM is around the corner ler. Next year camp, it will be us leading the younger ones. Us being relied on to make fire and tie tripod. But somehow, I'm just not ready for it. I'd admit I can hardly make a successful fire without the help of F4s. And the tripod us F3s tie are hardly tight... especially when our seniors jump on the tripod to test, boom - even more loose.

Time flies, I still remember when I was Form1. And joining the Red Crescent Society was NEVER a thought in my mind. Coz I kinda thought they just... suck. lol sorry. Probably because primary school standard really lousy. So now I know. =/
